Provide a Fiber-Reinforced Composite (FRC) Light Pole Model # A530 as manufactured by PLP Composites, Fitzwilliam, NH 03447. The light pole shall be constructed of polyester resin and fiberglass woven roving with more than 75% of the reinforcing fiberglass in the vertical plane. The pole shall be engineered and manufactured to have an EPA rating of 5@ 100 MPH with a gust factor of 1.3.

The pole shall be an anchor base style with a mounting height of 30 ’, a tip diameter of 5.3”, and a base diameter of 8.5”. The anchor base will be 6061-T6 cast aluminum with a 11-12” bolt circle. Anchor bolts as specified will be quoted separately.

Top Mount Type

The pole shall be a top mount with a tenon.

Side Mount Type

The pole shall be reinforced with an aluminum sleeve to support bolting. The manufacturer be required to drill according to luminaire manufacturer’s provided template. The pole shall be equipped with a nonconductive pole cap.

It shall be round with a classical entasis taper, with an acrylic alkyd enamel coating with a satin brushed finish. The color shall be .

The pole shall have a handhole with a non-conductive door, including vandal resistant screws.
