Provide a Fiber-Reinforced Composite (FRC) Light Pole Model # FLD725 as manufactured by PLP Composites, Fitzwilliam, NH 03447. The light pole shall be constructed of polyester resin and fiberglass woven roving with more than 75% of the reinforcing fiberglass in the vertical plane. The pole shall be engineered and manufactured to have an EPA rating of 7@ 140 MPH with a gust factor of 1.3.

The pole shall be a direct burial style with a mounting height of 25’, and an overall length of 31’ allowing for 6’ to be below grade. The tip diameter will be 5.3” and the base diameter 8.25”. An anti-rotational device shall be located above the butt of the pole, consisting of a tube extending out from each side of the pole. The pole shall be equipped with a 1 3/8” nylon grommeted hole two feet below grade.

The pole shall be a top mount with a tenon.

Side Mount Type

The pole shall be reinforced with an aluminum sleeve to support bolting. The manufacturer be required to drill according to luminaire manufacturer’s provided template. The pole shall be equipped with a nonconductive pole cap.

It shall be round with a classical entasis taper, with an acrylic alkyd enamel coating with a satin brushed finish. The color shall be .
